Perth Fashion Festival Telethon Celebrity Parade, presented by Hawaiian, Sunday 16 September 2007
Hawaiian was proud to partner with the Perth Fashion Festival in the Telethon Celebrity Parade, a gala cocktail event attended by over 300 guests at His Majesty’s Theatre on Sunday 16 September 2007. The event included a catwalk parade featuring a host of local celebrities plus a guest appearance by Home and Away star, Jodi Gordon. Guests were also treated to a spectacular live performance by WA Jazz String group, Bojeme.
The celebrities showcased items donated from retailers within the Hawaiian portfolio in a glamorous fashion parade through the stunning His Majesty’s Theatre. Following the parade was an exciting auction where the donated items were snapped up by eager bidders, with all proceeds raised going to Telethon. Auction items donated from The Colonnade retailers included designer gowns from Merge, an outfit from Laced Up, a dress from More! and a male and female outfit from Saba.
Russell Gibbs, Hawaiian CEO said “Our partnership with the Perth Fashion Festival this year allowed Hawaiian to support Telethon as well as showcase a range of garments and products found at our destination centres: Carillon City, Claremont Arcade and The Colonnade.” A total of $21,000 was raised for Telethon.
